Who We Are

Located in downtown Greensboro, one block from The Depot, the IRC is a place for people experiencing homelessness to congregate in a safe space, connect with important services, and join in fellowship with one another.

No matter what challenges our community members are facing, our first priority is helping to end homelessness. Our staff, partners and volunteers all share this commitment.  When you visit the IRC, you'll see just how powerful it is when people from all backgrounds come together toward the common goal of protecting this basic human right.

A safe place to meet basic needs and reconnect with the community

A Vibrant Hub of Community Activity

Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated staff and the partnership of many individuals and organizations who believe in our mission, the IRC has turned an industrial lot into a vibrant hub of community activity featuring a wide variety of services in one, easy-to-access location.
