Hope is a Powerful Catalyst
If you, too, believe that homelessness is an experience and not a person, join the IRC in changing that experience for good. A gift to the IRC is a gift of hope for our most overlooked neighbors, especially when they need it most. Individual donations represent the heart of the community. However you want to make an impact — in large ways or small — it takes us all joining hands to bring about change.
A small budget can bring about big change
We’re proud of the tremendous support we receive from our community and we are proud of how we put your donations to work for Greensboro and Guilford County. A key factor in our success is our commitment to never duplicate services that are already well managed by our partner agencies. Carefully leveraging volunteer hours and partnerships, the IRC understands how to make a small budget bring about big change.
Ways to give to IRC
Donating goods for our fundamental services
With more than 150 guests visiting our facility each day, the IRC is always in need of items for our Fundamental Services and our guests living outside or in poverty. If you are able to donate any of the items listed below, please contact the IRC. Thank you!
What Happens When You Give to the IRC
- You give the gift of good health
-
Your donations allow us to provide access to a nurse practitioner and basic medical services as well as mental health and substance abuse counseling.
- You strengthen our community and your community
-
At the IRC, we work to empower and educate our guests as well as the community at large. We’re in this together. Your gift helps us build a stronger Guilford County for us all.
- You provide critical social work support
-
Through our partnership with the Congressional Social Work Education Initiative (CSWEI) — and your support of IRC — we are able to provide case management and counseling services for people in crisis.
- You help more of our neighbors become gainfully employed
-
Your support enables the IRC to guide guests on the road to self-sufficiency.
