Hope is a powerful catalyst.
If you, too, believe that homelessness is an experience and not a person, join the Interactive Resource Center in changing that experience for good. A gift to the IRC is a gift of hope for our most overlooked neighbors, especially when they need it most.
We’re proud of the tremendous support we receive from our community and we are proud of how we put your donations to work for Greensboro and Guilford County. A key factor in our success is our commitment to never duplicate services that are already well managed by our partner agencies. Carefully leveraging volunteer hours and partnerships, the IRC understands how to make a small budget bring about big change.
Much of the IRC’s funding comes from donors like you! While the IRC receives grant funding through foundations, churches, organizations and through the city, state and federal government, individual donations represent the heart of the community. Be a part of our monthly sustainer program. Attend the Dignity Event — the IRC’s annual fundraiser held every spring. Give to our Amazon wish list. However you want to make an impact — in large ways or small — it takes us all joining hands to bring about change.

How to give
IRC Executive Director Michelle Kennedy has worked with communities in poverty her entire career, and as a result, has a deep understanding of the challenges that our community faces. The Dignity Fund reflects her vision to help our most vulnerable citizens survive homelessness with dignity. We believe that the power and spirit of the IRC community, combined with the power of accessible funding, will allow us to change the face of homelessness in Guilford County.
Support those experiencing homelessness while honoring the life and memory of Kenny Morton. In partnership with GTCC, the KCM Success Fund provides access to education with the goal of helping individuals gain the skills necessary to obtain living-wage jobs.
